Reciprocal Links: are a mutual link between two objects, commonly between two websites, to ensure mutual traffic. This is NOT the same as a BackLink

Reciprocal linking between websites is no longer an large part of the search engine optimization process. In 2005, with their Jagger 2 update Google stopped giving significant credit to reciprocal links as it does not indicate genuine link popularity. Although, in a practical sense; they are useful for an organization such as ours – to accurately refer searchers to the local jurisdiction where they may become candidates, and they will in effect: turn many websites into a sort of online encyclopedia.
